Overview
Senior LabVIEW Engineer role at Astronautics Corporation of America. This position focuses on LabVIEW and TestStand software development for test applications used in qualification and forward production testing of avionics products. You will contribute to design for testability and update test applications to accommodate newer LabVIEW versions or product changes. This hybrid on-site position is based at our Headquarters in Oak Creek, WI and reports to the Test Development Manager. What You Will Do
Develop test applications with LabVIEW and TestStand using National Instruments and Astronautics-designed test equipment to implement test procedures for qualification and forward production testing of avionics products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, systems, manufacturing, and project engineers to develop and deliver test systems for engineering integration, product qualification, systems verification, and production test. Document requirements and mechanisms for testing; design, develop, and maintain LabVIEW and TestStand applications satisfying these requirements to automate production testing of circuit card assemblies and final product. Execute verification of tests to ensure compliance with requirements and coverage; troubleshoot, maintain, and deploy test equipment with production teams. How You Will Do It
This hybrid on-site position is based at our Headquarters in Oak Creek, WI. You will report to the Test Development Manager. Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other Engineering discipline from an accredited institution. Minimum five years of experience developing test software using LabVIEW. You must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship. Experience developing automated test software using PXI chassis and interfacing with analog IO cards, digital IO cards, DMMs, oscilloscopes, National Instrument's switching and signal routing systems, data acquisition cards, power supplies, RF analyzers, and RF power sensors. Knowledge of hardware interfaces, such as GPIB, USB, Ethernet, and serial communication protocols. Desired
Experience using TestStand. National Instruments certification in LabVIEW. Experience developing in Python, C or other high level language. Experience developing and/or troubleshooting test hardware.
