Overview

Senior Procurement Engineer at Westinghouse Electric Company. You will verify quality and technical requirements for projects, products, and service deliveries for Westinghouse – from bid phase and component design through manufacturing and delivery. Evaluate new and existing suppliers as requested by the Delivery Stream Manager to include interfacing with customers, manage multiple projects and reporting for opportunities related to AP1000, AP300, eVinci and other products within the Energy Systems Portfolio. You will report to the Senior Manager and be located on a hybrid basis out of the Cranberry Township, PA office. Key Responsibilities

Drive/Support Supplier Identification and down selection. Drive/Support completion of Supplier Audits and Technical Evaluations. Drive/Support completion of NDA/PIA negotiations. Lead RFQ package creation (i.e., draft SAP requisition for RFQ including all technical and quality requirements). Lead Supplier Design Proposal / Compliance Matrix review meetings. Create the Manufacturing and Process Plan estimates for use in design option selection or validation of cost and schedule. Execute Supplier Oversight QA Technical Witness and Hold Points. Support the project management team to interface with Supplier Quality support organizations. Create Agendas and Lead Kick-Off meetings with Suppliers. Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with Suppliers and Westinghouse Project Support Team Members. Manage/Drive Westinghouse Project Support Team Execution. Manage execution of required Supplier QA Witness and Hold Points. Hold pre-job briefs and/or kick-off meetings for important/critical PO manufacturing activities. Drive/Support Purchase Order (PO) Change Notices. Provide periodic Project Schedule Updates. Provide periodic Customer Status Updates. Ensure all required Supplier PO scope is complete, including fabrication, testing and documentation. Ensure the Westinghouse Quality Release (QR) has been completed to support shipment. Ensure the QR and associated Quality Assurance Data Package (QADP) have been archived in PRIME. Send QR/QADP to the site or customer after it has been archived in PRIME to aid in receipt and turnover of equipment. Work with Westinghouse Logistics to arrange for shipment, ensuring all procedures and standards are described in Level 2 and 3 procedures. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Power Generation or Nuclear Industries, but experience in Oil & Gas, Pipelines, Refineries, Offshore Oil Production Platforms, Ship Building, Manufacturing Plants, or Supply Chain is acceptable. Knowledge of programming software is a plus but not required. Willingness to travel to support emergent project issues/supplier development. Why Westinghouse?
