Overview
Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a C2 Advanced Systems Engineer to support the MDA Command & Control, Battle Management & Communications (C2BMC) Program Office in Huntsville. The C2BMC engineering efforts include engaging in C2BMC technical engineering and integration in an Advisory and Assistance Services role. Responsibilities
Participate in reviews and assessments of C2BMC engineering products and documentation. Prepare C2BMC engineering products and collaborate with stakeholders as part of the engineering objectives documentation and analysis processes. Participate in engineering meetings, present engineering product development updates, support analysis, make recommendations, prepare minutes, and track actions to closure. Assist with MDS C2 product development and approval processes, to include reviewing draft presentation for Government approval, preparing briefings for working groups, and assessing software or hardware architectures. Participate in C2BMC software engineering reviews and analyses for development of C2BMC Spiral products. Support C2BMC development efforts in tracking and assessing software test data from the agile development process associated with the C2BMC products. Implementation of established system engineering processes across a program acquisition life cycle, creation of technical documentation, and support to the C2BMC Program Office in programmatic and technical engineering management of the development of C2BMC Spirals and capabilities. Assist MDA with programmatic activities: track schedules, budgets, contractual deliverables, and Government-Furnished items; support development of Statements of Work, Task Instructions, Requests for Proposal, and technical cost estimates; and support evaluation of engineering change proposals, white papers, and trade studies. Qualifications
7+ years of experience BS in Engineering, Math or STEM related degree Proficiency in software development / system engineering and execution processes, System Requirement Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, Product lifecycles, and design allocation to developed products. Ability to work independently within a dynamic environment; support real-world development, test and integration activities; maintain the capability to develop and present reports and presentations to senior management-level personnel; and work within a collaborative environment composed of Government, Prime Contractor, Sub-Contractor and Supporting Contractor personnel in a badge-less contractor environment. Clearance
Secret clearance required. Preferred Qualifications
Master\'s degree desired Missile Defense experience is a plus; MDA Battle Management background ideal. Knowledge of agile software development processes. Program Management experience with similar DoD programs. About MTSI / Benefits
