(SIE) is a full-service consulting engineering firm based in downtown Manhattan providing services in civil, structural, transportation engineering, bridge & facility inspection, construction management & inspection and lighting design. We are engaged in local community improvement projects to large, high-profile, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects with a strong reputation of delivering a wide range of projects for our clients in the public sector.
SIE is looking for
multiple Field Engineers – Rail/Transit
to support various MTA C&D transit construction projects .
This position will be responsible for the construction management, including quality, schedule, and overall client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Construction management of multidisciplinary rail construction projects Inspecting, monitoring, and overseeing construction field work tasks Reviewing contractor schedules and payments Conducting constructability review Coordination with MTA and other stakeholders
Qualification & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or similar 2+ years of experience in rail construction projects including stations, line structures, communications systems, and track work Experience with MTA C&D (including NYCT, LIRR, MNR), Amtrak, NJ Transit, and PANYNJ Excellent communication skills and work ethic OSHA 30, PMG123 Training, and NYCT Track Training
Expected salary range is $72,800 - $124,800 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent on the individual’s qualifications, skills, experience, and physical work location.
