We are seeking a
Product Development Manager
to oversee the development of new and existing insurance products across various lines including Property, General Liability, Auto, Inland Marine, Crime, Farm, Business Owners, and Professional Liability. Responsibilities include managing staff, conducting market research, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring products are competitive, compliant, and aligned with company goals. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with teams in Actuarial, IT, Stat, Underwriting, and Claims throughout the product development cycle. Manage end-to-end product development, including enhancements and new products. Prioritize projects and oversee staff efforts. Collaborate with Compliance on regulatory matters affecting forms and rules. Develop team expertise and ensure regulatory compliance and internal standards are met. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent 10 years of Product Development experience in P&C insurance. At least five years of Commercial and Professional Underwriting experience or strong knowledge of P&C insurance products, underwriting principles, and market trends. Management experience required. Knowledge of ISO forms, rates, rules, bureau filings, and system development. Ability to interpret rules and regulations in compliance and commercial lines bulletins.
