Electrical Engineer
to support electrical design activities for PAC-3 production, sustainment, and capacity assurance contracts. You will join our Electrical Engineering Capability Team in Huntsville, AL. We design, sustain, and upgrade next‑generation electronics concepts and support analog and digital circuit card assembly (CCA) design.
Position Responsibilities
Develop detailed design solutions for component and part obsolescence issues.
Generate engineering drawings and support hardware fabrication, integration, and testing.
Lead or support work to analyze and translate electrical (analog and digital) design requirements into system architecture, hardware, and software designs and interface specifications.
Research emerging technologies for potential applications to meet projected requirements.
Make recommendations for technological investments.
Support Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations, troubleshooting, and resolutions.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post‑Start is required.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of related experience.
Experience in electrical design and electrical analysis.
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or computer engineering.
Subject Matter Expert of electrical design with proven previous design experience.
Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscope, multimeter, DMM, spectrum analyzer, power supply.
Experience with programming languages C, C++, C#, Python.
Experience with circuit design (integrated circuit design, analog circuit design, mixed‑signal IC design) and circuit simulation software such as PSpice, LTSpice, Simplis.
Schematic capture, Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design experience with Altium, Mentor Graphics Siemens, or other drafting CAD tools.
Familiarity with FPGA and microcontrollers.
Active Security Clearance.
