The A&P Aircraft Mechanic I will perform maintenance in accordance with FAA approved technical data and company quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Safety-sensitive position subject to pre-employment and random DOT drug and alcohol testing. Review work assignments, obtain tools and parts, and complete jobs in a timely manner following applicable manuals. Ensure routine, non-routine, and customer request work cards are correctly completed and signed off. Verify calibrated tooling is current and noted on paperwork. Follow the company’s written policies regarding environmental health and safety. Perform all work in accordance with approved or accepted FAA data. Maintain the premises in a clean and organized manner. Return work to service. Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or other management personnel. Education and Experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent. Valid Airframe and Powerplant Certificate Required. 0-3 years of experience. Large commercial aircraft experience preferred. Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check and preemployment drug test per DOT regulations. Skills and Abilities

Attention to detail is imperative. Positive attitude and willingness to cooperate with others. Must be able to multi-task. Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces or elevated areas. Commitment to continuous learning (keeping up with new technologies & regulations). Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work products. Must be flexible to work any shift. Have mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools safely. Work Environments

Hangar and ramp atmosphere. Must be able to work in uncontrolled climate conditions. Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift fifty (50) lbs. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for prolonged periods of time, climb steps, ladders and/or service stands. Normal or corrected vision and hearing is required. Sign On Bonus
