The Process Engineering Manager is responsible for planning and directing the activities of the manufacturing engineering support team to improve productivity, quality, capacity expansion, and the industrialization of new products and new materials into the existing manufacturing footprint. The Manager will supervise and develop process engineers and process technicians. Responsibilities
Utilize project management techniques to forecast, manage, and coordinate project budgets and schedules Lead continuous improvement activities to achieve the annual plan of manufacturing efficiency projects Lead and enforce safety, health and environmental culture in the team and daily tasks Recruit, develop and guide resources to improve total performance and productivity Manage multiple complex tasks and perform under pressure Prepare and annually update the capital plan to support the business plan and manage capital project execution within budget and timeline Develop and maintain process standards, procedures and specifications to ensure consistent product quality Provide a structured continuous improvement framework aligned with Prysmian Lean Tools and problem-solving culture Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering 7-10 years of process improvement management in manufacturing 3-5 years of management of engineering resources Results-driven with a track record in a high-performance manufacturing environment Strong leadership and teamwork skills as a trainer and developer Proven success in project management Ability to motivate, communicate, and drive continuous improvement implementation Understanding of business principles and ability to deliver financial solutions with bottom-line impact Coordination with Operations, Maintenance, Quality and Logistics to support plant goals Prior experience with extrusion or injection molding is beneficial Work Environment / Physical Demands
70% of time spent walking and standing on a concrete production floor, with occasional stairs Regular interaction with all direct reports across 4 rotating 12-hour shifts in a 24/7 operation Equal Opportunity, DE&I
