Power Generation Mechanical Engineering Intern role at We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group. Locations include Germantown, WI; Concord, WI; or Paris, WI. This role will begin in May/June 2026 and will be full-time through the summer. The starting hourly rate is $22.00 with paid company holidays. Energize your career in a progressive work environment through our engineering intern program, which provides hands-on experience in your field of study while enrolled in college. You will join a team of multi-disciplinary engineers supporting the operation, maintenance, performance and optimization of our power plant locations. You will receive mentoring from experienced engineers within Power Generation and will provide a vital support role to our generating fleet during a transition period. You will network with other engineering intern students throughout the fleet. Responsibilities
Equipment inspections Troubleshooting operation and maintenance issues Failure investigation Project support Assist in managing small projects Equipment reliability Equipment and plant performance and optimization Drawing reviews and updates Procedure reviews and updates Ensure adherence to codes and standards Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or HSED Current pursuit of a Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or other related engineering majors with graduation date after June 2026 Minimum GPA of 2.8 Compensation and Benefits
