Overview
Trias Construction is seeking a proven and experienced Construction Estimator - Framing & Interiors to join our Estimating Department. This is a high-impact role ideal for a detail-oriented professional with deep expertise in commercial and industrial framing and drywall systems. The ideal candidate will bring over 15 years of experience, possess an intimate understanding of the Tampa Bay construction market, and demonstrate exceptional skills in plan review, take-offs, project evaluation, and cost estimation. You'll play a critical role in supporting our bids and securing successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Review construction documents, including plans, specifications, schedules and other project documents for scope and feasibility.
Perform precise material and labor take-offs for framing and drywall systems.
Analyze project specifications and contract documents to determine requirements.
Develop accurate, competitive pricing structures and cost estimates.
Develop estimating worksheet on Excel or other software for consistency and to be used by others.
Possess a great reputation in Tampa Bay.
Maintain knowledge of current market pricing within the Tampa Bay region.
Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to meet strict bid deadlines.
Assist in evaluating subcontractor quotes and vendor pricing.
Prepare bid packages and submit proposals on time.
Have the ability to train junior estimators to perform take-offs.
Support post-bid project transitions as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in framing and drywall estimating with commercial framing and drywall companies.
Deep familiarity with Tampa Bay construction pricing and market trends.
Proven ability to deliver accurate estimates under tight deadlines.
Proficient in reviewing and interpreting architectural plans and specifications.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
No specific certifications required; practical experience prioritized.
