Core Group Resources Civil Project Engineer – Hybrid Job Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to expand our stormwater engineering services within a growing multi-discipline firm that offers both construction and engineering design capabilities. This role focuses on stormwater design for small to medium commercial and industrial projects. This is a high-impact opportunity to guide technical direction, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute to the growth of a dynamic and integrated team.
Civil Project Engineer – Responsibilities
Review, design, and seal stormwater management systems for commercial and industrial developments. Ensure all project work complies with local, state, and federal codes and permitting requirements. Conduct site evaluations and field inspections to ensure successful implementation of stormwater systems. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to drafters, project coordinators, and field personnel. Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to deliver timely, compliant, and cost-effective solutions. Utilize AutoCAD and relevant design software to prepare and review grading plans, drainage reports, and stormwater control layouts. Support the strategic development of the firm's stormwater engineering services, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
Civil Project Engineer – Position Requirements
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas. Proven expertise in stormwater management, drainage design, and site development for commercial and/or industrial projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design tools. Strong leadership, project management, and client communication skills. Passion for mentoring and helping develop team talent across disciplines.
