Machine Maintenance Reporting to:
Supervisor, Machine Maintenance Basic Function
Inspect, maintain, and repair all production equipment to ensure productivity and safety standards are met. Responsibilities
Perform daily maintenance on production machinery. Set up and clean equipment following cGMP and SOP protocols. Identify and resolve machine performance or safety issues through inspections, tests, and adjustments. Keep detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities. Disassemble and repair equipment as needed. Maintain cleanliness of machine areas. Perform additional duties as required. Skills & Abilities
Proficient in basic English communication. Basic math skills. Knowledge of machine wiring and electrical components. Familiar with relevant tools. Ability to work independently and be self-motivated. Mechanical skills and maintenance experience. Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting expertise. Organized with good time management. Ability to handle multiple priorities. Professional interaction with contractors. Adherence to SOPs and safety protocols. Experience with specific equipment such as Unipac, Norden, Kaps-All, Video Jet, Econo Jet, labelers, case sealers, transfer pumps, and related filling equipment. Physical Demands
Occasional standing, stooping, bending, walking, and manual handling, including objects over 25 lbs. Education & Training
High school diploma or GED required. 5-7 years of machine maintenance experience in a contract packaging environment or equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience
5-7 years in a contract manufacturing setting, with experience on liquid fillers, volumetric fillers, cappers, coders, labelers, transfer pumps, and related equipment. Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical issues. This position is classified as non-exempt. KDC-ONE is an equal opportunity employer.
