Position Overview:
The Field Engineer I supports construction project activities to ensure compliance with company and contract requirements. They assist in maintaining the project schedule by providing technical support during planning, execution, quality control, and project completion. This role also ensures adherence to Henkels & McCoy’s Project Management Methodology and safety and quality protocols.
Responsibilities:
Assist in managing overall project performance and identify potential stakeholder conflicts.
Communicate project risks to the Project Manager and help develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure team goals, roles, protocols, and relationships align with high-performance standards and company strategy.
Lead by example to foster trust and candor within the team.
Maintain personal accountability and communicate assertively and constructively.
Qualifications:
Exposure to the construction or utility industry.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong problem-solving skills.
Educational Background:
BS degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
0-2 years of relevant experience.
