– join our Engineering team at our Columbus, Ohio headquarters. Position : Structural Engineer Reports to : Director, Engineering Location : Columbus, Ohio Pay Range : $75,000 - $100,000 We consider several factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates. Responsibilities
Perform structural engineering analysis and design for assigned projects Develop and compile structural engineering calculations and calculation package deliverables Create structural construction drawings and Revit model deliverables for in-house designs Review designs to identify opportunities for cost-saving solutions Collaborate with Superior’s internal teams to support project goals and deliverables Coordinate with owners, construction managers, and owners’ design professionals Conduct jobsite observations and provide follow-up communications Your Character Traits
You’re highly organized, great at prioritization, and have a strong attention to detail You’re a great communicator, a team player, and ready to work with colleagues across our jobsites and organization Your Expertise
Required: You have earned your Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and have basic knowledge of the design and construction of structural systems Bonus Points: 1-5 years of experience in consulting engineering or structural design/construction Bonus Points: You have taken your Fundamentals of Engineering test Bonus Points: You have your Professional Engineer (PE) certification in the State of Ohio Our Benefits
