We offer competitive pay, relocation assistance, and signing bonuses for qualified BAS Project Engineers. Tampa: Entry Level: $75,000-$96,000 Experienced: $96,000-$117,000
What You’ll Do
Design and implement building automation systems based on project needs Integrate HVAC, lighting, security, and energy platforms Create system schematics, wiring diagrams, and control sequences Program controllers, sensors, and automation devices Support final commissioning and provide technical assistance to field teams and end users Stay current with industry standards, technologies, and best practices Ensure projects meet safety codes and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
Experience with building automation systems (Niagara, Distech, ACAD preferred) Knowledge of protocols like BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks Strong understanding of HVAC, lighting, energy, and security systems Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills Degree in engineering or relevant field, or equivalent experience Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
