Position Overview: Boeing is dedicated to defining and integrating advanced electrical systems across our commercial fleet. We translate high‑level concepts and requirements into specific architectures and operational specifications, ensuring the seamless physical integration of electrical systems and components within our complex aircraft.

We collaborate with a global supplier network to implement cutting‑edge system hardware and software, validating our designs through rigorous laboratory and in‑flight testing. Engineers work on aircraft systems from initial concept through certification, delivery, and throughout their production lifecycle.

This position will involve working with Cabin Systems, which encompasses interior lighting, passenger address systems, seatback video, passenger connectivity, satellite connections, in‑flight entertainment, and more.

Position Responsibilities

Develop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.

Design hardware, software, and interface specifications.

Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.

Assist in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.

Resolve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.

Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.

Work Authorization This position is 100% on‑site. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Everett or Renton, WA.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

Experience working in an electrical design engineering environment (with emphasis on electronic and electrical systems design and analysis).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience with Flight Management Systems.

Pilot's license and/or experience working in the flight deck.

Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.

Pay and Benefits Summary Salary ranges are based on candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Associate (Level 2): $85,850 - $116,150

Experienced (Level 3): $102,850 - $139,150
