Overview We are seeking an experienced
Lead Civil & Structural Engineer
to provide technical and functional leadership across civil and structural engineering activities for midstream and facilities projects. This pivotal role ensures design integrity, quality, and constructability across all project phases while mentoring a team of engineers and advancing departmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
Define the technical scope, design basis, and execution strategy for civil and structural disciplines.
Review and approve critical design deliverables to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with project objectives.
Ensure all work complies with industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Provide expert guidance to resolve complex civil and structural engineering challenges.
Drive innovation and adoption of best practices in design and analysis methods.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Civil Engineers across multiple projects and levels.
Conduct performance reviews, identify training opportunities, and foster continuous improvement.
Manage resource allocation, schedules, and engineering workloads efficiently.
Promote collaboration and integration across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Develop and maintain departmental engineering standards, procedures, and tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
10+ years of civil and structural design experience in industrial or energy infrastructure projects.
Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing complex project scopes.
Deep expertise in the design and analysis of foundations, steel and concrete structures, earthworks, and drainage systems.
Proficiency with industry-standard engineering software (e.g., STAAD, RISA, Civil 3D, SAP2000, etc.).
Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASCE, ACI, AISC, API 650/620, IBC).
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic project environment.
