— built for some of the most advanced clients in the world. Your main toolkit will be

SolidWorks 2021 , where you’ll be expected to

model quickly, cleanly, and accurately . You’ll collaborate closely with our refrigeration and electrical teams to develop complete, manufacturable designs that integrate thermal and electrical systems seamlessly. Design and model

mechanical systems, structures, and sheet metal assemblies in

SolidWorks 2021

with an emphasis on

speed, accuracy, and parametric control Integrate refrigeration and electrical components into assemblies, ensuring logical layout and serviceability Develop and maintain clean drawings using

ASME standards

and internal best practices Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to generate accurate, lean

BOMs Create and execute

Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)

with attention to version control and documentation Conduct

DFMEA’s

and tolerance stack ups. Conduct

FEA and thermal analysis

to validate designs Peer review

CAD models and drawings for clarity, design integrity, and manufacturability What You Bring:

Must-Have Skills Expert-level SolidWorks

skills — particularly in

Sheet Metal

and

PDM , with at least

7 years of experience Proven ability to

model fast and clean

while maintaining structure and naming discipline Strong attention to detail — your models and drawings should be as clear as your communication Experience designing for

manufacturing and assembly Familiarity with heat transfer concepts and how mechanical design impacts thermal performance Working knowledge of

electrical components

and layout principles Working knowledge of

refrigeration components

and layout principles Excellent communication and collaboration skills A creative, solutions-first mindset Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Hands-on experience with environmental systems, refrigeration cycles, or thermal management products Why AES?
