Responsibilities
Lead others in the same work ethic to contribute to the team’s success. Serve as project engineer for more complex assignments under the direction of the project manager. Manage multiple projects and meet constrained deadlines. Prepare technical writing such as letters, reports, and specifications of moderate complexity with minimal guidance from supervisor. Contribute to structural design across residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects using 2D and 3D modeling and analysis results. Qualifications
B.S. Degree in structural or civil engineering or related field, and 5-15 years post-degree experience. Licensed Professional Engineer preferred, but not required. 5-15 years of structural/civil design experience with all types of materials preferred (wood, concrete, masonry, and steel). Strong capability, experience, and knowledge in residential, commercial, and mixed-use structural design. Technical writing skills in letters, reports, and specifications of moderate complexity with minimal guidance from supervisor. Exceptional organization and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and work under constrained deadlines. Good working knowledge of engineering software – Excel, RISA, AutoCAD, ENERCALC and others. Proficient in 2D and 3D modeling techniques and interpret the results of those models. Benefits
