Senior Project Manager role at Henkel. Lead capital projects and guide cross-functional teams to deliver on strategic objectives. Responsibilities
Lead project teams to drive delivery and implementation of major capital projects (> $30 MM USD) within Henkel North America. May manage projects simultaneously at multiple sites. Own full project life cycle from conceptual design through initiation and deployment for assigned projects. Manage all aspects of projects to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, including scope, changes, resources, and chairing project management team meetings; assess interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs; participate in feasibility studies, vendor selections, and evaluations; define statements of work and specifications; monitor and control workstreams to resolve issues and dependencies. Apply project and program management principles, methods, and techniques. Understand Process Safety Management requirements; lead basic and detailed risk assessments, HAZOPs, MOC, PSSR, LOPA; develop and implement SIS as needed. Provide status reports on milestones, deliverables, risks, and issues to leadership. Contribute to establishing practices, templates, policies, and tools to improve management of capital projects. Travel up to 50% of the time. Qualifications
BS Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering required (Chemical Engineering preferred). 15-20 years of hands-on experience with capital project management in chemical manufacturing facilities. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at various stages. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong technical and data analysis skills. Proven ability to learn new chemistries and processes. Details
Salary: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year. The posted range is based on good-faith expectations and may be adjusted. Henkel is an equal opportunity employer.
