Certified Welding Inspector
Join Kleinfelder's construction services team in Salt Lake City to perform high‑level welding inspections and testing on diverse projects.
Responsibilities Perform special inspections and testing of construction materials in the field on multiple high‑profile projects.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of welding inspection experience (prefer 5+).
Current ICC Structural Steel & Welding Special Inspector OR Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification from AWS.
Valid driver’s license with clean record and ability to pass drug test.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to use company laptop/tablet.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Certifications/Experience
ICC Structural Steel and Bolting Special Inspector.
ASNT Nondestructive Testing (NDT) experience; minimum level II in ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle (MT), dye penetrant (PT).
Additional ICC Special Inspection certifications.
