Job Summary
We're seeking a Thermal Engineer to join our client, a global leader in the green energy sector. This is an employee-owned company in the Somerville, NJ area where your contributions will make a real difference.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have a BS Or Master's Degree In Chemical Or Mechanical Engineering And 5+ Years Of Experience In
process design, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and control & instrumentation. Experience with finite element flow modeling preferred.
Familiarity with design and selection of equipment such as heat exchangers, deaerators, fans, pumps, vacuum pumps, steam ejectors, steam bypass control valves, or other similar equipment in the power or process industry.

Responsibilities
Full responsibility for the design, specification, and selection of thermal equipment used on Air Cooled Steam Condensers for power plants.
Verify thermal, process, and noise design complies with technical specifications.
Generate thermal performance curves, step control curves, wind correction curves, thermal datasheets, process flow diagrams, etc.
Perform hydraulic calculations for pipe and duct sizing.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience, experienced level.
Bachelor's degree required.
