Agile Space Technologies is seeking a passionate and driven individual to add to our Test team onsite in Durango, CO and contribute to the development of cutting-edge propulsion systems for space exploration. As a Test Engineer I/II, you will join a team of seasoned professionals in a dynamic testing environment. Agile Space Industries, Inc. designs, builds, and tests in-space propulsion systems for satellites and spacecraft, using state-of-the-art 3D metal alloy printing to rapidly design, manufacture, and test new engine designs in our propulsion test facility. The company has over a decade of experience testing rocket engines and employs engineers who have worked at Blue Origin, SpaceX, NASA, and Aerojet Rocketdyne. AGILE is headquartered in Durango, CO with facilities in Mount Pleasant, PA and a growing presence in Tulsa, OK. Role & Location

Position: Test Engineer I/II Location: Durango, CO Schedule: Full Time Remote: No Responsibilities

Support daily propulsion test operations, including setup, checkout, and execution of test campaigns. Assist with system builds, modifications, and maintenance of test stands and associated ground support equipment. Perform troubleshooting and data collection under supervision, escalating issues appropriately. Follow safety, compliance, and propellant-handling protocols for hypergolic systems. Document work performed and communicate test results effectively to engineers and leadership. Collaborate with technicians and engineers across multiple test programs to maintain schedule. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related technical field, OR equivalent hands-on aerospace/propulsion test experience. 1–3 years of relevant experience in propulsion, test operations, aerospace systems, or complex mechanical/electrical systems. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work safely around hazardous materials, high-pressure systems, and test environments. Proficiency with basic software tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, data entry). Preference for U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status to minimize ITAR/EAR testing complexity. Preferred Qualifications

Experience in propulsion testing, rocket engines, or aerospace ground support equipment. Familiarity with propellant systems (MMH, NTO, or similar hazardous fluids). Knowledge of instrumentation, data acquisition systems, or control systems. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and test hardware. Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented, high-tempo test environment. Willingness to work flexible hours and support off-shift/weekend testing as required. Work Environment & Conditions

Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required for certain tasks: Safety glasses, Hearing protection, Safety shoes, SCBA (respirator). Occasional overtime to meet business needs. Salary & Benefits

Test Engineer I: 72,600 - 103,100 Test Engineer II: 80,600 - 116,100 Final compensation based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
