What is the role about?
A mid-level Process Engineer has a passion for solving customer problems by designing innovative and robust solutions for the industrial process and manufacturing industries. This role applies automation, controls, and Endress+Hauser measurement instrumentation to provide measurement solutions that optimize customer processes with safety and reliability. You will collaborate with a team of multidisciplinary engineers and project managers to explore new and creative solutions to meet profitability, schedule, and customer expectations. You will be responsible for design, calculations, documentation, specification, programming, testing, and on-site commissioning. You will have autonomy to create new repeatable solutions offerings and work on unique applications for our customers. Continuous learning and growth of technical and professional skills are expected with support from the team, management, and the organization.
Responsibilities
Independently contribute to designing and implementing custom process solutions Create detailed PFDs and P&IDs Perform process simulations and calculations with some supervision Specify basic process equipment Provide technical support for routine customer queries Review design specifications and bid packages with some guidance
What do we expect from you?
You Will Have (required) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Chemical Engineering degree preferred 4+ years of experience in process design Proficient in multiple programming languages and automation software Good understanding of process calculations and control loop strategies Understanding of advanced process and instrumentation system design Industry experience and involvement in various projects Experience with Rockwell Studio 5000 PLC/HMI programming or similar platforms Travel required: approximately 10%
You May Have (preferred)
4-6 years of experience in Mechanical and CAD design Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings Attention to detail and accuracy; ability to apply critical thinking Adaptability and prioritization in a dynamic environment Effective collaboration across departments to achieve goals and enhance customer experience
