About The Team Our Sentry Manufacturing team is responsible for rapidly iterating and building cutting‑edge defense hardware, including static equipment and moving ground equipment, to provide force protection and counter‑UAS support. This includes every activity in the manufacturing value‑chain: design for manufacturability, tool design, process creation, vendor sourcing, quality planning, and documentation.
About The Job The right candidate can demonstrate past holistic ownership of solving a technical challenge with a creative physical solution they either personally manufactured or oversaw manufacturing on, in a fast‑paced, resource‑limited environment.
What You’ll Do
Leverage New Product Introduction (NPI) expertise to transition electromechanical prototypes to high‑volume production, optimizing design for manufacturability, assembly, and supply‑chain scalability.
Design and implement efficient manufacturing processes for high‑complexity product(s) across the value chain.
Lead and coordinate projects to install new manufacturing systems, communicating progress and changes to stakeholders.
Leverage automation and integrated workflows to streamline manufacturing.
Develop process flows, breaking down large, complex assemblies into logical part flows of sub‑assemblies and sub‑processes.
Write documentation—work instructions, quality plans, inspection requirements—for scalable manufacturing.
Work with contract manufacturers (PCBA fab, metallic manufacturing, assembly) to develop repeatable processes for quick‑turn development and at‑scale production.
Travel to suppliers to source work, resolve production issues, and implement quality procedures.
Contribute to end‑customer hardware mechanical or electrical design, including interconnects, board fabrication, inspection, etc.
Collaborate cross‑functionally (Quality Assurance, Design Engineering, Technicians, program managers) to set quality standards, inspection processes, design for manufacturability, troubleshooting, and programmatic milestones.
Required Qualifications
Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or a hard science.
3+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware.
Demonstrated ability to creatively deliver electromechanical hardware in a resource‑constrained environment.
Demonstrated experience integrating large or high‑complexity assemblies/sub‑assemblies.
Extremely organized and detail‑oriented.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
Experience in configuration management and change control processes (CCB, E&O, Effectivity dates).
Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export‑controlled information or facilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated success in scaling product testing and production from tens/hundreds to hundreds/thousands.
Hands‑on experience with software & firmware flashing or end‑of‑line testing & troubleshooting.
Demonstrated ability to develop, execute, and manage high‑fidelity, automated test procedures on both component and system levels.
Experience with large‑scale high‑mix manufacturing at different stages of product maturity.
Prior experience working with JIRA, Siemens NX, Teamcenter (PLM), or Oracle (ERP) or equivalents.
Familiarity with establishing test ecosystems that de‑risk hardware and meet target reliability levels.
Experience with large Bill of Materials, ownership of multiple products/configurations.
US Salary Range $129,000—$171,000 USD (base salary estimate; actual offer may vary based on experience, education, and business considerations). Includes highly competitive equity grants and Anduril's full‑time benefits package.
