Part-Time HVAC Instructor
who has the commitment and drive to help students achieve their dreams. Responsibilities
Prepare and provide all lecture, laboratory, and clinical instruction according to the required curriculum. Follow current course outlines, objectives, and evaluation mechanisms, or develop them as indicated by the President. Maintain a daily instructional lesson plan. Monitor student attendance and retention and document as required by administration. Grade assignments, return graded work, and assign final grades in a timely manner. Provide educational assistance during office hours or by appointment. Substitute in classes when necessary. Advise students on school policies and satisfactory performance; maintain communication with the Dean of Education. Submit in writing current textbook, supply, and equipment needs to the Dean of Education. Monitor equipment and supply inventory in locked facilities; secure consumables and materials as needed from the administrative office. Maintain professional appearance and communicate with the Dean of Education on student-related issues. Maintain professional expertise through faculty development to meet accreditation standards. Ensure students follow catalog guidelines daily. Attend scheduled mandatory meetings and serve on committees as assigned. Perform other duties as required. Compensation
Part Time, Non-Exempt Hourly Starting at $29.00 Compensation dependent on experience, knowledge, and education level. Schedule
Evening Shift Monday and Wednesday In-Person classes on Monday and Wednesday 6:00 PM - 10:30 PM Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years field experience. HVAC certification preferred. Preference for experienced instructors. Benefits
