The successful candidate will assist the Commercial Sales organization by providing pre-sale and post-sale support to our top-tier customers. This role supports the sales organization with pre-sale and post-sale activities for commercial HVAC solutions.

Responsibilities

Review plans and specifications to develop HVAC systems solutions. Communicate requirements effectively with customers and internal teams. Adapt to customer-specific requirements. Provide HVAC equipment selections, both new and for replacements. Provide technical support for the sales of commercial air conditioning systems to customers and their consulting engineers. Respond to RFQs to seek new business opportunities for new or existing customers. Coordinate across multiple functions, maintain composure in fast-paced environments, and make timely decisions. Support Sales Managers and Sales Coordinators with new and existing accounts and the introduction of new products. Demonstrate strong technical skills, self-direction, business understanding, and interpersonal/influencing abilities to work across the Carrier organization and with customers.

Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma 3+ years of HVAC industry experience

Preferred Qualifications

HVAC experience or knowledge of HVAC designs; commercial applied equipment experience is a plus. Sense of urgency, self-initiative, dedication, and ownership. Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills with the ability to work with external customers and a multi-functional team (sales, engineering, manufacturing, marketing). Outstanding follow-up and follow-through skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple priorities. Customer service orientation with a focus on the customer experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
