Dynatrace Engineer
who’s ready to help government customers harness the full power of Dynatrace to deliver high-performing, resilient applications. In this role, you will not just manage monitoring tools—you’ll be a trusted advisor, working side-by-side with technical teams to proactively prevent performance issues and resolve complex challenges in real time. You will play a pivotal role in helping mission-driven organizations succeed by ensuring smooth, efficient, and reliable digital experiences. What You’ll Do: Serve as a
subject matter expert
and advisor in Application & Infrastructure Performance Management using the Dynatrace platform Guide customers through
strategic adoption and integration
of Dynatrace across the software development lifecycle Partner with development and operations teams to
identify monitoring opportunities , create custom dashboards, alerts, SLAs, and automation strategies Deploy, configure, and optimize
Dynatrace components
including OneAgent, ActiveGates, and extensions Onboard and support applications into Dynatrace , ensuring performance insights are accurate and actionable Create
custom metric and log events
in support of
application monitoring Analyze performance data and help teams
troubleshoot, optimize, and scale
their applications Deliver tailored
training and mentoring
to empower customers in leveraging Dynatrace tools Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive value and promote best practices What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or 4 additional years of applicable experience 2+ years of experience as a Dynatrace Engineer Experience with log management Solid understanding of Dynatrace architecture, configuration, and deployment best practices Skilled in creating management zones, deploying extensions, and integrating OneAgent and ActiveGates Comfortable working with performance data across infrastructure and applications Effective communication skills with the ability to
engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders A collaborative, consultative mindset, and a passion for customer success Bonus Points For: Dynatrace Associate certification (Professional level preferred or achievable quickly) Experience with synthetic monitoring (clickpath), JMX extensions, and ServiceNow integration CI/CD integration knowledge (e.g., Keptn) Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.), containers (Kubernetes), and virtualization tools (VMWare, Citrix) Experience with relational and NoSQL databases Development background in Java, .NET, Node.js, or Python Why Join Us?
