Base pay range
$70,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr EMC Engineer - Knoxville - Up to $120,000 I am currently representing a Knoxville-based company seeking an EMC engineer! Qualifications: Three to five years of experience in a related field. Experience performing MIL-STD-461 and/or IEC 61000 immunity tests. Proficiency with spectrum analyzers, EMI receivers, oscilloscopes, RF amplifiers, and vector network analyzers. Experience developing EMC test plans and test reports. Knowledge of EMC equipment calibrations and measurement uncertainty analysis. Responsibilities: Develop test plans and perform EMC qualification testing in the laboratory and field. Analyze equipment and test results to provide justifications when troubleshooting is not possible. Prepare technical documentation. Perform research and development activities related to EMC. Work with software developers to enhance EMC testing and reporting capabilities. Travel 5 to 10 times per year for an average 5‑day duration per trip to perform field service testing at national and international nuclear power plants and other customer facilities.
