Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: Development and creation as well as implementation of planning concepts and projects including the corresponding design specifications or framework conditions for the Assembly-Shop department. Ensuring of defined measures and development of techniques or processes including analysis and evaluation of alternative solutions under consideration of economic standards Responsible for the planning of complete finish processes, equipment (especially for End of Line) and methods across all work sequences in the finish (EOL) and elaboration of these scopes into space plans, considering the requirements of all departments (and social partners) Creation of production plans for all work sequences according to the valid time finding procedures. Ensuring and controlling the defined measures and coordinating the activities of the technical contractors Writing of technical specifications of finish equipment incl. alignment with product requirements and production needs as well as technical clarification and issues with technical contractors and suppliers of Assembly shop equipment (especially for Finish) Responsible of layouts, specifications, time schedules and investment plans, following economic standards Preparation of offers, comparative analyses and purchase orders Realization of PV, 0-series and production ramp-up to series operation Processing of planning orders, improvement proposals and change requests including ongoing revision Coordination of related departments, R&D and operators with focus on the implementation of suggestions for the product design according to production requirements and the identification of optimization measures Assumption of special tasks corresponding to the skills and duties of the job holder This Role is carried out responsibly in factual cooperative collaboration with supervisors, employees, involved and affected departments - in compliance with existing guidelines, standards and regulations This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, South Carolina. The responsibilities of this role require dailyattendance in office with in-person meetings and events regularly. Wheel alignment Roller test Dynamic online calibration for ADAS Shower test for vehicles Equipment for rework area (especially EV vehicles)
Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics (e.g., OBD, CAN, LIN). Familiarity with automated test equipment: headlamp aimers, alignment systems, leak testers, NVH measurement tools, etc. Understanding of ECU flashing and software validation at EOL. Process Engineering Process capability analysis PFMEA and control plan development Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Finish and rework processes Project management & communication Project management & communication Knowledge about stakeholders and interfaces to the assembly area (like production, quality, industrial engineering, building, infrastructure, pilot hall, EHS department) Knowledge in equipment planning processes starting from the concept up to the final handover to production Ensure production processes Process planning and sequencing of product sequences Product understanding and derivation of the effects on assembly processes, assembly equipment and ergonomics skills in office applications and presenting results to the team or the management Skills in web-based applications are appreciated Costumer orientated skills Poka Yoke Analytical skills and good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously What you\'ll gain

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate\'s skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
