Responsibilities
Performs scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and installation tasks on the physical plant, equipment and machinery, according to standards. Demonstrates competency for all on-the-job activities affecting product safety, legality and/or quality. Performs assigned preventive maintenance tasks on plant equipment and machinery. Responds to and corrects equipment stoppage or mechanical breakdowns. Troubleshoots when necessary and repairs/replaces worn or defective parts, motors, control devices, etc. Operates machine shop equipment and fabricates required parts when necessary. Maintains cleanliness of the work area. Practices and complies with company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes-Oxley, etc.). Performs other duties as assigned by supervision and deemed integral to the job, including adherence to work schedules and attendance policies. Preferred Qualifications
One or more years of experience as a Production Operator or Technician and/or formal training or equivalent experience. Experience in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning; Welding, Electronics, Electrical repairs, industrial equipment installations, alignment, start-up repairs, etc. Essential Job Requirements
Associate Degree in Electronics/Electrical Technology or equivalent formal training and work experience. Compensation and Application
