Position Summary: This position will be onsite and based out of the Linear Motion business operation in Saginaw, Michigan. The role involves participating in selecting tooling, gaging, and developing processes to ensure timely, high-quality manufacturing of parts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage short- and long-term projects, collaborating with internal departments and vendors. Design manufacturing processes based on existing stable processes. Implement engineering definitions and contractual requirements into manufacturing processes. Identify improvements through impact analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives. Design and maintain characteristic accountability plans for legacy and new products. Create work holding for manufacturing and testing. Generate clear standard work instructions. Foster positive relationships across all organizational levels. Provide technical support to production and supply base. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar. Interest or experience in machining, chemical processing, non-destructive testing, or heat treatment is preferred. Independent learner capable of research and investigation. Excellent communication and follow-up skills. Knowledge of quality systems and control plans. Strong analytical skills. Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills. Proficiency with CAD systems; Siemens NX preferred. Other Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Person due to ITAR regulations. Skills and Abilities: Ability to interpret safety rules, instructions, drawings, and regulations. Strong understanding of geometry and trigonometry. Proficiency in MS Office; coding knowledge (VBA, C#, C++) is a plus. Work Environment: Manufacturing environment with exposure to mechanical equipment. Moderate to loud noise levels. Safety gear required. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and visual acuity. This description is not exhaustive and duties may change.
