We are seeking an experienced AI Software Engineer to join the Enterprise Applications Team, reporting to the Senior Director of IT and Enterprise Applications. The role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying AI and GenAI solutions across corporate applications and enterprise platforms to accelerate optimization of business processes and enterprise systems. The role involves building AI agents and enterprise automations across all business functions (commercial; back-office; operations; engineering) and identifying, prototyping, deploying, and scaling AI technologies to drive efficiencies and improvements across the organization.
Responsibilities
Business Partnership: Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to understand challenges, identify AI opportunities, and implement AI/GenAI solutions.
Promote AI best practices by staying current with AI tools and methodologies.
Stay informed on advancements in AI/ML, LLMs, and enterprise automation technologies to guide future development strategies.
Develop strategic frameworks and roadmaps for AI initiatives aligned with business goals.
Drive AI and data literacy across the organization through training, workshops, demonstrations, and other educational initiatives.
Engineering and Development: Lead ideation, prototyping, deployment, and scaling of AI/GenAI technologies and agentic solutions tailored to business needs across enterprise systems (Finance, HR, Legal, IT, Technical Customer Care).
Automate complex workflows by integrating AI models with existing business platforms (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, Atlassian, Salesforce, Oracle NetSuite, etc.).
Evaluate and fine-tune AI models to ensure alignment with business needs, ethical standards, and security requirements.
Develop and maintain APIs and integrations between AI tools and enterprise applications.
Governance and Compliance: Champion best practices in AI/ML and GenAI development including responsible AI, privacy, security, and ethical guidelines; document technical solutions ensuring maintainability and compliance.
Stay current on advancements in AI/ML, LLMs, and enterprise automation technologies to guide future development strategies.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor or HHAeXchange leader.
Travel up to 10%, including overnight travel.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science (or related field).
5 years of professional experience in a technical role, with hands-on experience building end-to-end prototypes using GenAI tools (GPTs, Hugging Face, open source LLMs, LangChain, Scikit-learn, etc.).
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or Java).
Advanced proficiency in programming and data engineering within cloud-based AI solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Hands-on approach to learning new and unfamiliar processes and systems.
Ability to architect and deploy enterprise-scale AI solutions, collaborating across departments and with business leaders to ensure adoption and measurable ROI.
Ability to source, clean, and transform data from various sources and assemble it into structured inputs for AI experiments and prototypes.
Experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Technical familiarity with enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, ITSM systems).
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of driving outcomes through AI/GenAI.
Preferred: Experience developing conversational AI agentic solutions or virtual assistants.
Understanding of AI ethics, responsible AI, and data privacy principles.
Exposure to automation frameworks (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath, or similar).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
