Production Team Leaders must have strong mechanical skills, attention to safety and quality, proven attendance record, and great work ethic. Associates will be operating state-of-the-art casting and punch press machinery. Responsibilities include meeting production goals, following standardized work practices, material handling, laboratory quality checks and embracing lean initiatives. Laboratory duties include collecting, analyzing and reporting on data about product quality and process efficiencies. Responsibilities
Set up and run all equipment per established standard operating procedures. Crosstrain on all functions of the operation casting, punch press, and material handling. Must have strong mechanical skills and the ability to run equipment and make necessary adjustments when needed. Responsible for daily production reports and making accurate production counts. Perform appropriate 5S tasks as needed. Participate in training and development programs including all areas of environmental, health and safety issues, especially those dealing with proper handling of hazardous materials and hazardous waste. Understanding of QA testing requirements to ensure all products meet customer expectations. Follows all established standard operating procedures while performing QA testing in QA laboratory to ensure products meet customers’ expectations. Follow health and safety practices as they apply to area of work and the facility. Performs other responsibilities and duties assigned by supervisor. Fill in for Supervisor when necessary. Forklift Certification. Authorities include
Rejecting nonconforming material as determined by the customer quality standards following current Standard Operating Procedures and Control Plans. Placing nonconforming material on hold for review by the QA Department. Stopping production as necessary when safety concerns or nonconformities are present per current Standard Operating Procedures and Control Plans. Making adjustments to production equipment to eliminate nonconformities. Qualifications
