Pratt & Whitney is seeking an F135 Powerplant Engineer (PPE). This role is responsible for the technical maintenance planning for unserviceable hardware on file orders to minimize maintenance cost while improving hardware time on wing and reliability. What You Will Do

Establish and effectively communicate engine, module, and part shop visit requirements. Coordinate with the F135 maintenance depots to ensure effective implementation of workscope specifications, configuration requirements and specific shop maintenance instructions Work with the Shop Visit Strategy team to identify and manage emerging issues, as well as the assessment and mitigation of technical risks to minimize interval and cost impacts Provide shop visit technical support to limit workscope expansion Provide timely resolution of technical and/or business questions/issues the shop may have on specific requirements Integrate your experience into continuous improvement efforts via the CORE operational system Travel 10% (Domestic & International) Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor\'s Degree 8 years of aerospace, logistics, or maintenance experience or an advanced degree with 5 years of aerospace, logistics, or maintenance experience Qualifications We Prefer

F135 or other Military Engines maintenance experience Familiar with engine overhaul & repair processes, engine hardware, assembly, operation, and testing Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Aerospace Logistics, or equivalent What We Offer

ALL eligibility requirements must be met to receive the referral award. The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
