ABOUT THE ROLE
The Electrical Supervisor ensures that all plant electrical equipment is maintained in the most reliable and cost effective manner possible. To motivate, supervise and lead the electrical personnel including with all other departments and ensuring Health and Safety regulations is a top priority. WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
Guarantee compliance with OH&S and environment policies for electrical maintenance personnel. Establish safety culture and tackle specific actions to ensure health and safety prevention during maintenance activities. Determine and identify the necessary actions of corrective and preventive electrical, instrumentation and automation maintenance in coordination with Mechanical, Process and Production Departments. Ensure electrical maintenance team’s full time readiness to efficiently tackle emergencies or urgent breakdowns. Prepare daily, weekly, project based, and annual shutdown electrical maintenance plans (work orders) according to preventive, scheduled, or new maintenance actions. Monitor performance of maintenance crew. Develop and motivate its team, ensuring competencies and skills development according to technical innovations, plant or personal needs. Act as a back up to Systems Coordinator role at the plant with regards to PLC and DCS systems programming and maintenance. This role will be on-call to provide support for the plant afterhours, on weekends or holidays; this is on a rotating basis with other members of the Maintenance team. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Technical Degree in Electrical engineering or equivalent. 5 plus years’ experience in heavy industry electrical experience. Additional Requirements
Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance tasks (e.g., motors, drives, power and control systems, instrumentation, automation systems) preferred. Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. WHAT WE OFFER
