Senior Sales Engineer
at Sabre, you'll bridge the gap between our technology and our travel agency clients' business needs. You'll shape solutions that impact clients' operational efficiency and revenue growth. Consultative Solution Design: Conduct in-depth discovery and scoping analyses to understand client pain points and opportunities, then design tailored technical solutions using Sabre products and partner offerings. Technical Sales & Demos: Lead technical pre-sales engagements, including client needs evaluations, product demonstrations, and pitching comprehensive solutions alongside commercial sales representatives. Value Proposition & Business Cases: Quantify the economic value of proposed solutions, advise sales reps on ROI, and build internal business cases for necessary solution investments. Market Insight: Share critical customer and market insights with Product and Marketing teams to influence future solution roadmaps. Client Advisory: Act as a trusted technical advisor, building strong relationships and ensuring long-term client success. Qualifications
Experience: 5-7 years in a Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, or similar customer-facing technical role, ideally within travel technology. (Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required). Deep Travel Industry Knowledge: Proven understanding of end-to-end travel industry workflows and common agency operations. Technical Acumen: Strong API knowledge (preferably GDS/Travel industry APIs); previous technical or software development background preferred; excellence in functional and technical solution design and workflow development. Travel Industry Infrastructure: Solid grasp of travel industry infrastructure, trends, and the ecosystem of suppliers, developers, and subscribers; strong understanding of at least one or more Global Distribution Systems (GDS). Communication & Influence: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical information for diverse audiences; proven skill in gaining cooperation and influencing stakeholders; fluency in English required; proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, or French is a significant advantage.
