Wisconsin Public Service . JOB REQUIREMENTS: WPS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a
Power Generation Engineer. This position can be located at any of our
WEC Energy Group power generation or renewable locations in Wisconsin. This position is part of a job family (Engineer, Senior Engineer, and
Principal Engineer) where experience will be the determining factor. This position will support projects and programs that are part of WEC
Energy Group's $13.2 billion electric generation capital investment
plan, which will power economic growth and provide energy reliability in
the state of Wisconsin. An additional 1,800 megawatts (MW) of electric
demand is expected in the state between 2025 and 2029 - an increased

Job Responsibilities: Lead scope development including analysis and recommendations of design options, recommendations for structures, systems, and components. Preparation of engineering designs, material and construction specifications, and cost estimates. Review of internal and external construction plans and implementation of construction activities for more complex projects. Provide technical expertise on assigned power generation equipment and/or technologies. Provide technical leadership for troubleshooting equipment failures, determining root causes, and preventing reoccurrence. Manage capital projects across our Power Generation Fleet territory, which could include work at Gas Storage, Wind, Solar, or Fossil Fuel sites. For full info follow application link.
