Job Title: Structural Design Engineer
Join our team as a Structural Design Engineer and contribute to designing steel cold box structures, pipe racks, and other structural elements of process plants. This role involves producing detailed drawings, performing stress analysis, and ensuring projects meet schedule and budget requirements. Responsibilities include: Designing steel structures and creating detailed plan, section, and elevation drawings. Performing stress analysis to validate designs. Developing shipping and lifting requirements for equipment from 5 to 500 metric tons. Reviewing vendor drawings and specifications, making technical recommendations. Following established AISC standards and participating in training programs. Ensuring project compliance with schedule and budget, working efficiently within a team, and resolving technical issues. Required Qualifications: Degree in mechanical engineering from a recognized institution. Proficiency in CADWorx 3D, AutoCAD or BricsCAD. Experience with cryogenic piping, cold boxes, and the Industrial Gases Industry is a plus. Knowledge of Robot, Tekla, Hilti design software, RAM Connection, and understanding of pipe stress/supports. Basic computer skills, excellent communication, and organizational skills. PE license is a plus.
