SEPHORA Position Title: WMS Production Engineer, UDC Departments: DC Production Engineering Function: Technology Grade: 180 Reports To: Manager, Systems Engineering WMS FLSA Status: Exempt As a WMS Production Engineer reporting to the Manager, Engineering, Warehouse Systems you will be responsible to support our DC network to identify, resolve, and provide root cause resolution to production systems/Issues, to include development and testing. Essential Functions Of The Job Leverage Logistics Operational Process knowledge, JDA/BY WMS systems knowledge, and Development and Troubleshooting skills to resolve Logistics business incidents and quickly restore service when assigned high priority incidents Leverage Logistics end-to-end Operational Process knowledge and automated systems knowledge (Reddwerks WES, Dematic WCS, ProShip Parcel Shipping) to quickly resolve complex Logistics business incidents involving integration with JDA/BY WMS Utilize C, Java, C++, and SQL to provide mitigation of critical system issues to restore critical business functionality, and alerting of reoccurrence Perform analysis of Logistics business opportunities to design and implement quality and innovative technical solutions, both strategic and tactical Work with Product and Development teams to understand new business requirements, and ensure designed solutions support established Operational processes and initiatives – provide constructive feedback as required Collaborate with other Engineers on the Logistics Support Team on best methods to quickly and effectively troubleshoot and resolve both system and technical infrastructure issues Participate in Development and Logistics Support Teams code reviews and test solutions to ensure they meet best practice specifications Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Strong communication skills, exceptional customer service orientation, and conflict resolution skills Proficiency working directly and collaboratively with DC Operations, building effecting relationships with personnel at all levels Proficiency exhibiting task and time management skills, oral and written communication skills, technical expertise, and a dedication to resolve problems effectively and efficiently while minimizing disruptions Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse groups in a team environment using logic-based troubleshooting skills Comprehensive knowledge of Dotcom and Retail DC operational practices and procedures, and a strong understanding of Supply Chain and WMS concepts Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Self-motivated, proactive, independent and responsive; requires little supervisory attention Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of IT and DC Operations management and floor personnel We would love to hear from you if you have: Distribution Center Systems Engineering Support experience with increasing technical and functional responsibilities required; Experience in Supply Chain, Implementing and supporting JDA/BY WMS including a successful history of launching new DC’s and migrating/upgrading to newer WMS versions Technical experience in JDA/BY WMS application development & support of Warehouse Management System (JDA/BY) Knowledge of DC Operational processes and experience with various warehouse systems such as WMS, OMS, TMS, and WCS/WES Experience with JDA/BY WMS, MOCA, PL/SQL, and Oracle SQL Firsthand experience with common programming languages such as JAVA, C#, C++, PL/SQL Experience with Distribution Center automation such as Robotic Picking, Sortation, Pick/Put Lights is very much desired Experience with Parcel Shipping software (ideally experience with ProShip software), including knowledge of carrier rate-shopping concepts Working Conditions Worksite: Distribution Center/Warehouse Environmental conditions / exposures: Work is indoors in a temperature-controlled environment Onsite coverage may be required during weekends and weeknights in support of planned maintenance or local production outages Periodic travel (quarterly) to other DC locations as well as to FSC Weekend on call coverage required (on rotation) The annual base salary range for this position is $96,390.00 - $107,730.00. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
