Overview
Threat System Engineer within KBR’s Missile, Aviation, and Ground Systems (MAGS) division. The STARE Lead Threat Systems Engineer identifies, develops, specifies, and manages threat requirements across STARE products, coordinates threat requirements and communications, participates in working groups, develops and coordinates modeling and simulation (M&S) requirements, and delivers M&S products and tools.
Responsibilities
Coordinate threat requirements, communications, and verification/validation/accreditation between STARE products and production centers.
Communicate current and evolving threat states as they relate to product development strategies to STARE Program and Product Management.
Represent STARE with designated Army Threat Agency, National Intelligence Centers, and Warfighter community.
Support program success through integration of current and projected threats in system/requirements development, performance assessments, program planning, upgrade concepts, and countermeasures across the lifecycle.
Basic Qualifications
Active SECRET clearance with ability to obtain TOP SECRET clearance.
Bachelor of Science in engineering, physics, or mathematics from ABET-accredited institution.
5+ years’ experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with defense systems.
Experience in high-fidelity threat/target model development.
