What You’ll Do
Routine service visits and testing as required to ensure safe and effective treatment programs within the pulp and paper industry.
Update databases with each service visit and generate weekly service reports as required.
Assist with technical issues at customer sites, bring any issues to the customers’ attention and put together a plan for corrective action – ensures the sales account manager is kept informed.
Look for growth opportunities at existing customers and assist with growth opportunities at prospect accounts as required.
Assist with data analysis on program performance.
Routine monitoring and maintenance of feed equipment as required.
Participate in technical training opportunities for advancement of skills and knowledge.
What You’ll Bring
Background in papermaking or chemical applications in a paper mill setting; Ideally 5-8+ years of experience.
Bachelor’s Degree (Science or other technical degree). Will consider experience in lieu of a technical degree.
Solving complex and non-routine technical problems.
Strong relationship management skills.
Industry and customer literate, or ability to pick up industry and Solenis technologies quickly.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, conduct pre-employment screenings and have a valid driver’s license.
Drive for results; proactively addresses complex issues.
Fluency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Must live within 1 hour of customer (Port Townsend, WA).

The expected compensation range for this position is between $83,500.00 and $139,100.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
