Job Title Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will create and maintain CNC programs across multiple controllers used in manufacturing, tooling, and maintenance. You will provide daily support to manufacturing, improve practices and products, and fully understand manufacturing processes to create optimal routing using the most efficient tools and machines.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain CNC programs across multiple controllers.

Support manufacturing operations and improve practices and products.

Understand manufacturing processes to create best routing using optimal tools efficiently.

Comprehend work holding to achieve best results, including clamping, fixturing, and orientation.

Create CAD models for process drawings, machining layouts, and other manufacturing aids.

Create and maintain machine layouts.

Provide technical support for internal and external customers, sales force, and supply base.

Resolve routing, tooling, and capability issues.

Re-quote to ensure acceptable gross margins due to changes in material, subcontract processes, and run times.

Set up and control operating systems for item masters, BOMs, and routings.

Manage and document all changes in part design, manufacturing, and processing.

Essential Skills

5+ years of manufacturing experience.

In-depth knowledge of materials and machining processes.

Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Excellent math and mechanical aptitude.

Understanding and use of 3D CAD - Solidworks preferred.

Understanding and use of GD&T methodology.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

BS degree in Engineering is preferred but not required.

Experience and demonstrated capabilities are acceptable.

Any CAD / CAM experience is acceptable; experience with Espirit is a plus.

Visual basic programming is beneficial.

Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
