Job Purpose Leads, creates, and implements innovative technical activities and solutions in the areas of Business Plan, New Model, and Mass Production to efficiently meet or exceed Safety, Environment, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale (SEQDCM) targets.
Key Accountabilities
Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing methods, operation sequences, and processes for parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
Review and analyze daily production reports to identify improvement opportunities and lead root cause analysis or countermeasure activities.
Utilize data analysis and PDCA methodology to lead and support cross-functional problem-solving and decision-making.
Monitor and manage equipment and processes to ensure peak manufacturing performance while minimizing operating expenses.
Lead and mentor team members and colleagues to build technical expertise and enhance overall capability within the department.
Establish priorities and make data-driven decisions to most effectively accomplish business and production objectives.
Manage project implementation including schedule, budget, and resources to achieve cost, timing, and quality targets.
Test, evaluate, and introduce new technologies and innovations to enhance equipment and process efficiency.
Develop and manage investment and expense budgets to ensure achievement of cost targets.
Qualifications & Experience
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
Required Experience
2–8 years of relevant engineering experience depending on education level.
Skills & Competencies
Strong technical analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with industry-standard software and data analysis tools.
Demonstrated leadership, project management, and communication (verbal/written) abilities.
Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or lead others.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Commitment to continuous improvement and achieving business plan objectives.
Decisions Expected
Prioritize and follow up on daily production performance and countermeasure actions.
Develop and execute strategies to achieve unit and company initiatives.
Lead and evaluate business planning and justification for resource or budget changes.
Determine project budgets, schedules, and improvement activities to enhance operational efficiency.
Working Conditions
Work Environment: Approximately 50% office / 50% manufacturing floor activity.
Physical Requirements: Hands‑on involvement in troubleshooting and process improvement; requires use of PPE, tools, and gauging equipment.
Overtime: 10–15 hours per week, with potential weekend or off‑shift support as needed.
Travel: Approximately 5% (domestic and international).
Exposure: Working near oils, lubricants, and manufacturing equipment within production areas.
