Dallas, TX (Hybrid, 3 days a week onsite)
Base Pay Range $170,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr
The Role
Ensure process capability using CpK/PpK, 8D, and 5-Why analysis.
Develop and qualify robust processes for defense-grade steel forgings.
Lead FAIs and process validations to meet defense standards.
Apply SPC and statistical tools (Minitab, Excel, R-Shiny) for process control.
Leverage expertise in metal processing, including heat treating and chemical coatings.
Drive Lean and Six Sigma to improve efficiency and quality.
Serve as primary process engineering contact for customers and suppliers.
Manage shift supervisors and process techs across all shifts.
The Person
Experience leading process engineering in defense, aerospace, or complex manufacturing.
Skilled in CpK/PPK, SPC, RCCA (8D, 5-Why), Minitab, and R-Shiny.
Hands‑on leader and team builder; thrives in high‑pressure environments.
Strong communicator, proactive problem‑solver, and effective mentor.
Experience in metal processing is required, including forging, casting, heat treating, chemical processing, or rolling.
