We are partnered with a leading self-performing builder delivering complex EPC and construction management programs across the U.S. You will support projects in sectors that include aviation, commercial, transmission and distribution, power generation, industrial, oil and gas, water, and mission critical. The Role As an Assistant Construction Manager, you will support the Project Manager, Site Manager, and EPC leadership with day to day execution. You will help drive safety, quality, schedule, cost, procurement, and documentation so the project team can deliver on time and on budget. What You’ll Be Doing Support full project lifecycle, safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, procurement, reporting, and closeout. Coordinate project execution plans, QA plans, Safety and Health plans, subcontracting plans, staffing plans, org charts, and procurement plans. Assist with risk reviews, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, change management, and claims mitigation. Help develop scopes, preparing RFPs, managing bidder prequalification, supporting bid evaluations, and award documentation. Contribute to contract administration for prime contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders. Assist with site mobilization and demobilization planning, permits, logistics, and materials receiving and inventory. Track field progress, earned value, unit rates, and production rates to support schedule and cost objectives. Prepare status updates for stakeholders on risk, schedule, costs, and cash flow, issuing clear meeting minutes. Support invoicing workflows for prime, subcontract, client contractor, and supplier billings. Maintain project documentation systems, verifying insurance, licensure, taxes and duties, securities, and compliance. Coordinate with Superintendents and Site Managers on subcontractor compliance with safety, quality, and schedule. Assist with audits for safety, quality, progress, and financials, and managing turnover and warranty packages. Support craft workforce items, onboarding, classifications, training, labor agreements, composite crew analyses, equipment planning, and staffing with field operations and HR. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, and 3 years of relevant construction experience, or equivalent experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong written and verbal communication, strong organization, high attention to detail. Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control, and project management software is preferred. Site based project experience in aviation, commercial, energy, government, manufacturing, oil and gas, process, T and D, transportation, or water is preferred. Basic understanding of GAAP, ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast paced environment, valid driving eligibility per company requirements.
