Pioneer Industries (an ASSA ABLOY company) is adding a Production Team Lead for our 2nd Shift at our manufacturing facility in Carlstadt, NJ. The hours are 3 pm til midnight. We are growing and there has never been a more exciting time to join us. What would you do as our Production Team Lead – 2nd Shift? As our Team Leader you would be responsible for maintaining quality and productivity of employees as well as departmental safety. You will be responsible for ensuring that production scheduled for completion is executed in a timely manner and within all quality procedures. Your role will also be responsible for training others within the department along with other subject matter expert operators. Responsibilities

Adhere and enforce ALL safety and quality processing procedures. Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with company policies. Responsible for cleaning and quality-checking their tools and machinery to ensure everything is in good working condition. Report all incidents to supervisor with accuracy. Enable effective communications between supervisors and operators. Evaluate new employees and coach existing employees. Cross-train employees within department to always ensure coverage. Maintain quality and quantity production goals. Be a positive role model for other employees. Maintain the production communication board regarding safety, quality, delivery & productivity. Stage/setup material for the team and ensure production keeps moving forward. Initiate problem-solving process and documentation when non-conformances occur. Be knowledgeable of equipment & processes in area to fill in for people on vacation/sick/etc. Perform other responsibilities as required. Comply with and enforce federal, state, local and corporate governance policies, regulations and laws, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct. Qualifications

High School diploma or GED equivalent 3-5 years general shop experience required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively direct operations and work independently. Basic computer skills and proficiency in arithmetic. Complete knowledge of shop mathematics, work in process, and finished product. Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, sketches, and following verbal instructions. Demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities. Ability to motivate others to meet production schedule demands. Oriented to thrive in a team environment focused on achieving common goals. First Aid trained to meet procedures (separate procedures for treating injuries). Competence in machine setups and adjustments to meet quality standards. Open minded and adaptable to a changing work environment. Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for this role is up to $26.70 per hour depending upon experience plus benefits and overtime potential.
