Total Appliance & A/C Repairs is a family-owned and operated HVAC service company serving South Florida for over 50 years. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service and keeping families comfortable year-round.
The Position
In this technician role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC equipment to ensure our customers' homes stay cool and comfortable. This is a true technician position – there's no sales pressure, just the satisfaction of fixing problems and keeping our customers happy. Over 95% of the service calls you will run will be covered under parts and labor agreements, so you just perform the repairs and keep the customer happy!
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair malfunctions in residential AC units (under 6 tons) in both water source and split system applications. Perform preventative maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance. Provide excellent customer service, clearly explaining issues and solutions to homeowners. Maintain a clean and professional appearance. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
EPA 608 certification (or willingness to obtain) Minimum 2 years of experience diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC equipment Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
