Our equipment is used across food, dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, waste water, ethanol, and petroleum processing industries. We are looking for both Sales Engineers and Sales Managers who are passionate about customer relations and sales. You will be responsible for selling GEA’s centrifuge, homogenizers, pumps, and valves product portfolios across different regions in the United States. Roles And Responsibilities Sales Engineers:
Account Management: Establish and maintain accounts by analyzing the market and customer needs to achieve sales targets. Technical Presentations: Prepare and deliver technical and sales presentations at industry seminars and to customers. Cost Estimates & Quotations: Assist in preparing cost estimates and quotations by reviewing project plans and consulting with engineers and technical personnel. Process Improvements: Analyze cost-benefit ratios of equipment to improve customer applications. Project Handoffs: Ensure clear communication and handoff to the project management team. Technical Support: Assist service engineers in field testing and troubleshooting. Sales Managers:
Sales Leadership: Drive territory equipment sales and service activities, aligning with business goals. Allocate resources effectively and prioritize initiatives. Strategic Implementation: Support local sales strategies, positioning products to enhance competitiveness and meet order and margin targets. Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, serving as the key account manager. Market Expansion: Drive sales growth and expand market reach within the territory, monitoring trends to stay ahead of competitors. Quotation & Pricing: Develop detailed quotations, understand customer requirements, and define pricing strategies to ensure margins and competitiveness. Change Management & Leadership: Lead organizational change initiatives with strong leadership skills. Travel: Extensive travel (50-70%) within the territory to strengthen customer relationships and identify new opportunities. Your Profile / Qualifications Requirements for Both Roles: Experience: 2-5 years of sales or technical experience in processing equipment in supported industries. Education: Undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or relevant fields, or equivalent experience. Technical Communication: Ability to understand and communicate technical data and engineering systems. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and in teams. Travel: Willingness to travel overnight 2-3 nights per week, with occasional trips to Germany.
