About The Role We're looking for an experienced Senior Product Owner to drive Agile Release Train (ART) delivery in a SAFe environment. You will own the team backlog, define user stories, and partner closely with the Product Manager to ensure delivery of value-aligned features. This role requires strong analytical skills, deep Agile expertise, and familiarity with cloud platforms. Experience with government systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
Partner with Product Manager to translate product vision and roadmap into actionable features.
Own and manage the team backlog, prioritizing for maximum business value.
Write clear, testable user stories with defined acceptance criteria.
Lead participation in PI planning, system demos, and inspect‑and‑adapt sessions.
Engage with development teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements.
Represent the customer voice, ensuring solutions meet business goals.
Facilitate collaboration across cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a technical environment.
Proficiency in Agile/Scrum and SAFe frameworks.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to partner with technical and business teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with government systems or regulated environments.
SaaS or enterprise platform product background.
SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification.
Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
Additional Requirements
Ability to pass a government security background check specific to the platform.
